Artist's Comments

A panel out of the comic that was due today. I'm not uploading the whole thing now because, as you can see, I decided to PAINT it (idiot) ergo i am not finished. I am going to finish and post it because I became quite attached to the project, and that is when I will give you my long schpeal about it, and oh, it will be epic.

I'm loading this because technically it was one of my best panels, but in terms of the story it was one of the weaker ones and I'm going to re-do it for myself so you won't see it in the comic, but I wanted to share it cause I secretly really like it hehe

She's gorgeous, I love her face and hair, and the colors of the whole scene look wonderful together.
Great job!

The ecstasy, the being free, the big black cloud over you and me
And after that, the upwards fall, and were we angels after all?
I don't know, I don't know...

It's lovely! I adore the blush on her cheeks, the way her hair falls, and all those little flowers.

Be with me always - take any form - drive me mad! only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh, God! it is unutterable! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!

Ooh, pretty! I wouldn't have the courage to actually PAINT a comic... let alone, color it in with crayola pencils :blushes:

Be sure... to drink your... ovaltine.

Ovaltine? A cruddy commercial?
:iconleonarrd:
I really like how many different colors you used in this, very vivid. The tree in the background and the flowers in the front are particularly impressive. Nice job, traditional painting is always a more a challenge, especially if its for school! XD

Beautiful painting, reminds me of Gauguin.

Same! Very Gauguin.

I really love the negative shape of her flower hairband.
