It's been my big project this semester while I didn't have my computer to learn how to SKETCH. Natural-born sketchers will have no idea what I'm going on about, but doodling is actually quite difficult. But as I found myself with no computer and frustration with my classes, this became the perfect outlet. I can safely say learning to sketch was my biggest achievement this year!
This is part one of four, I'm uploading the observational sketches tonight and the rest tomorrow because I'm too tired to finish formatting. These are drawings of my sister, the people in starbucks, a few in-class drawings of the model, and a tree for kicks.
<edit> oops I forgot to say my materials. This is mostly brush pen (Tombow) with the brush nib on one side and fine pen on the other. Grey and Purple in this one. Bottom row is watercolor and Faber-Castell PITT brush pen.</edit>
What have you been using to draw these? By these, I mean these and those from your other sketchbook post. I can see that there are a couple of different mediums.. and I like the way they look!
nice job shading the cloths. I have most trouble with those darnded cloths! but if all my pics were nude(blegh)they wouldnt let me sketch during school.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
