Aforementioned traditional art. This is a 2X3foot Oil paint self portrait for class. It's done with combination north light and artificial light, 8 hours. I worked from the mirror and the likeness is actually pretty good, if i do say so myself!

Maybe I'll write a more substantial comment tomorrow, i just really want to get this off my chest tonight but it is now...late.

what's north light?

great painting :) have you worked with oils a lot? I really like the brushstrokes and smooth texture :)
