oh god not another portrait. I dunno, they calm me, and I'm getting stressed about starting my summer job and stuff.
Anyway, i had fun with this. I am VERY glad to replace that hideous outdated portrait of him I have lurking in my gallery.

Harry Potter, I wish I knew how to quit you. You are too hunky for children's books, but I know a place you could stay...

I love the dramatic lighting on his face and the kind of sketchy looking nature of the portrait is a nice effect :)

I really, really like the planar effect you've got going on here - it's really beautiful and creates a really structural, convincing feel. The skin and features look so plump and full, if that makes sense? The lighting is really nicely executed, too - love the colors in the shadows!
