WOW I have been abusing you all over here and I apologize sincerely. I have been redoink busy with school which is, by the way, 100 MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN LAST YEAR.

This was the result of my assignment in illustration with Fred Lynch (my hero): "illustrate the word lost."
well...this is what i came up with. Watercolor on paper, and it took WAY longer than i would like to admit (i'd never done watercolor before.)

I'm hoping to get back on the deviantart horse, what a letdown after my extreme art-making summer! I will be making more of an effort; i have missed all of you.

P.S. If you know anything about livejournal formatting, PLEASE drop me a line over here [link]
I am trying to make this my banner. Thanks!

Calf: Mama, why does that cow have such a long neck?
Cow: It's not polite to stare, dear.

Really nice work, it looks like something out of a children's story book. :)

I love your cows! Especially the gentle faces and lines that suggest that those faces might be slightly more flexible/expressive than standard bovines! Super fun pic :)

This one goes to the Picture Dictionary. Took me some time to see the giraffe. I looked around wondering "were is the 'lost' part of the pic?". Have passed my eyes by the legs 2 or 3 times before realizing "waaaaait a minu... oh f*c*"
Awesome work, painting and creativity.
