I decided that it was time to do some "digital painting." don't know if this counts but it was a good warm-up. i'm fond of the painterly look of it, but not so fond of how the colors turned out. blech. actually the only part i really like is the shading on her face. yeeeeeah. but i figured it was time to post so HERE YOU GO!
So this is Lily Evans (soon Potter,) telling another story about something ridiculous james did to get her attention. in the sketch she has many adoring friends in various stages of hysteria but she was my fave so i just cut them.
yes, i AM aware that her bag dissappears into the oblivion. i worked so damn hard on that skirt so screw the bag. she's a witch, n'est pas? it's invisible. har har har
sketch- oc, 15 minutes
color- ps, 1 hour, about.

Wow you are amazing! Your anatomy is great (i'm probably annoying you with this) but it's great. Your face and coloring is fantastic!!:)

Ah, excellent. It's about time you posted a digital painting that is not a portrait, ha ha. I like the cast shadow from her bag-strap and hand. That skirt mus have been trouble, ha ha. Oh plaid, what do you do to me?

HAHA the strap wand hand shadows were my FAVE PARTS EVARRRR HAHAHA thanks
the skirt was killer so i totally pulled it out of my ass and just made a lot of lines ha haha
