I find myself assuming that he's going to get with Mary in the interim between seasons, but there's really no evidence of that. We don't even know if they're going to take the full 3 years so I dunno. I am VERY curious to see how they'll handle her, though.

If you've seen Season 3 you'll know that Mary's pretty awesome. I like this because it shows the relationship between John and Mary between the season 2 and 3, which isn't really elaborated in the show. I like to think that Mary basically saved John's life.
