Anime hair goes 'WHOOSH'

PHEW. now that I got that silly ORIGINAL stuff out of the way, we can return to our scheduled programming: MOAR FANART.

this is Soli, my favourite character of Alexds1's phenomenal comic "The Meek." Soli does not get enough fanlove. she p'owns better than anyone else i know, and is generally awesome. I really like the idea of Soli in the desert, because she's sort of the colors of the desert... oh here i go saying pretentious things about other people's characters.

so, technically, i'm SUPER proud of this because i didn't use a single reference for soli, not even the mirror. sketch and lineart Paint Tool SAI, Crappy color in Photoshop.

The only bad part of this new creepy prolific me is that i have lost my colorinig skillz. i found previously unsupposed BG skillz, but i have NO idea how to color the characters anymore. this is a little too "3D!!1!11!!!" for me, but i'm still fooling around....
